Let's hope he shoots first.

During the Super Bowl, we got a little preview of the upcoming Star Wars anthology movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story. And on Good Morning America, we got a full teaser. So, I will be doing a teaser breakdown for both the TV spot and the official teaser.

So, first, the "Big Game" TV spot:

So, one of our first shots is this wide shot.

You can see some Stormtroopers, and a bunch of people. Also, not a lot of people saw this, but there's an R2 unit in the shot.

Now, is that THE R2-D2 from the Star Wars movies? Well, this movie is taking place around 11 BBY to 5 BBY, which is after Revenge of the Sith and before Rogue One. So, maybe R2 will have a big role in this movie, or maybe it's just a cameo.

We also get shots of some TIE fighters and imperial officers.

After we hear Han's narration that he is gonna be the best pilot in the galaxy, we get an awesome, crowd-pleasing shot of the Millennium Falcon.

The rest of the trailer includes some of the characters you'll see in the film, including Qi'ra (portrayed by Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke), Lando Calrissian (portrayed by Donald Glover), Beckett (portrayed by Now You See Me's Woody Harrelson), and some more Chewy.

And now, let's get to our main analysis: the official Solo teaser.

In this teaser, we finally get a very good shot of young Han's face.

I'm not that thrilled about this, personally. I mean, it's not a BAD casting choice, but come on—we live in a world with Ansel Elgort and they can't get him to play the young Harrison Ford?

And if you listen to Han's voice, it doesn't sound like a young Harrison Ford.

That's pretty disappointing. Because when Ewan McGregor played a young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequels, McGregor watched a bunch of Alec Guinness's films, and studied the way Guinness talked, imitating his voice and accent almost perfectly.

I mean, I look nothing like a young Harrison Ford, but I could imitate Ford's voice a lot better than this actor did.

And we see Harrelson's character, Beckett, tell Han that he is putting together a crew.

And we see Qi'ra (Clarke) and a droid named L3-37 (Phoebe Waller-Bridge)

And Han's old buddy in the original trilogy, the charming Lando.

We then get another shot of Alden Ehrenreich portraying Han, and this is getting just slightly disappointing.

Annnd... light speed.

We get a bunch of awesome shots of the characters in the Millennium Falcon, and we see that it's a different shape than it was in the original trilogy.

Here's another shot of it:

And my guess for the reason behind this is that the part on the end got blown off and was just never rebuilt. Or maybe it's an escape pod of some sort that needed to be used in the film.

But that's it and as for what I want to see in this movie, I want to see Han meet Chewy and Lando, and I want to see the Millennium Falcon make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, as he so boldly claims.

Now, I'm not the best person to analyze this trailer, because I haven't read or played any of the gajillion Star Wars books and video games. But this movie looks okay.

Are you excited for "Solo"?
