The Sarah Jane Adventures ran from 2007-2011. The Spin Off show of Doctor Who has 5 Series in total and is written by Russell T Davies. Series 5 of the show was incomplete due to the sudden death of Elisabeth Sladen. Due to the passing away of Elisabeth Sladen in 2011, the show had to come to an end as the main character had passed away in reality. Lets have a look. (This excludes Elisabeth Sladen)

Tommy Knight - Luke Smith

Luke Smith

Tommy Knight is responsible for playing Sarah Jan'es adopted son Luke Smith. Luke was not born like us, he was created by the Bane and has the brains of 10,000 humans making him smarter than ever. Luke Smith appeared in Series 1-3 of the show. In Series 4, Luke departed from the show to go to Oxford University. Luke had been in some episodes of Series 4 and 5 but this was via webcam from University. His last Episode was "The Man Who Never Was".

Tommy Knight as Kevin in Waterloo Road

After the Sarah Jane Adventures, in 2012 Tommy Knight had joined the BBC One show Waterloo Road. Tommy first appeared in Episode 8 of Series 8. Tommy played the character Kevin Skelton. Kevin was then adopted by teacher Mr. Daniel Chalk. As Kevin was adopted he changed his name to Kevin Chalk. Kevin also had a relationship with another student, Dynasty Barry. He then had a stroke before a University Interview. Tommy Knight left the show in Series 10 Episode 12.

Also in 2012, Tommy Knight appeared in the film "A Suburban Fairytale". This was a different step for Tommy as he played a more darker character. Tommy had acted alongside his actual real life half sister Yohanna Farrel. His role was incestuous and murderous. Spooky.

In 2014, Tommy Knight appeared in the show, Glue as a murder victim. This was on the channel E4.

Daniel Anthony - Clyde Langer

Daniel made his first appearance as Clyde Langer in the second story in Series 1 "Revenge of the Slitheen". Sarah Jane's plan was to not get Clyde involved, but that didn't happen as Clyde still managed to jump on board and help save the universe. Clyde is the joker in the pack. Once Clyde actually realises that he is intelligent he decides to stay on at Sixth Form at school.

After the Sarah Jane Adventures, Daniel is very well known for starring on the hit BBC One show Casualty. Daniel had played the character Jamie Collier. Jamie was the nephew to Jeff. Daniel first appeared in Casualty in Series 27, Episode 17. His position was a Student Nurse. Jamie was sweet and charming in and around the hospital. He always wanted to make the girls smile. His last appearance was in Series 28, Episode 24.

Yasmin Paige - Maria Jackson

Yasmin as Maria

Maria appeared in the Sarah Jane Adventures since the start. This was Series 1, Episode 1 "Invasion of the Bane". Maria had noticed Sarah Jane with an alien in her garden in the middle of the night. This got Maria into all this business. Maria drew close to Sarah Jane and Luke until she moved to America in Series 2 as her dad (Alan Jackson) got a job offer in America. But Maria is still mentioned in the show. She also makes another appearance via webcam in Series 2 to help track down Clyde and his dad.

After the Sarah Jane Adventures, in February-March in 2012, Yasmin had starred in the six part comedy Pramface on BBC Three. In 2013 she appeared for another Series. Also in 2012 she appeared in the show Spoof or Die on Channel 4.

In 2014 she joined Tommy Knight from the Sarah Jane Adventures to star in the E4 show Glue.

Anjli Mohindra - Rani Chandra

Anjili in Cucumber.

Anjili joined Sarah Jane and the gang in Series 2 "Day of the Clown". Rani wants to be like Sarah Jane and be a journalist. Sarah Jane is determined not to get Rani involved in all the action as she doesn't want her to get hurt. Guess what, she still found out about it all. Rani has been in the show since then and all the way to the end in 2011. Rani also shares the same name as the well known Doctor Who villain "The Rani".

After the Sarah Jane Adventures Anjili went onto starring in quite a bit.

In 2012, she had starred in the BBC One show Casualty for one episode.

In 2013 Anjili starred in "Coming Up"

Then in 2014 Angili is well known for starring in the BBC One show "The Missing". She appeared in Episode 1, 7 & 8 of this series.

Today (2015) Anjili is back with writer Russell T Davies to star in the show "Cucumber" on Channel 4. The series focuses on middle-aged Henry Best. He had a disastrous date night with his boyfriend of nine years, Lance Sullivan.

Alexander Armstrong - Mr Smith (Supercomputer)

Mr. Smith

Alexander Armstrong voiced Sarah Jane's Supercomputer "Mr Smith". Mr Smith is in Sarah Jane's Attic. Mr Smith is known for hacking into systems. Mr Smith has had 2 different screen types. First it was crystal shaped. But as Mr Smith turned bad Sarah Jane had to reboot him. He then went onto having a more funky design. Mr Smith is a Xylok. If Sarah Jane needs Mr Smith, she says this "Mr Smith, I need you". The out comes Mr Smith hidden in the wall.

After the Sarah Jane Adventures, Alexander Armstrong has appeared in several shows such as, Doctor Who, Hacked, Hunderby, Not Going Out, Danger Mouse and Cockroaches. With other shows in between.

Sinead Smith - Sky Smith

Sky had only been in 1 series. This was Series 5. She is a "Fleshkind" humanoid, bred by her mother Miss Myers as the perfect weapon in their fight against the robotic Metalkind. Sarah Jane then decides to adopt Sky. This means that Luke has a sister. Series 5 was due to continue and Sky was going to turn out to be the Tricksters Daughter in the Story "The Battle of Bannerman Road". But due to the sudden death of Elisabeth Sladen they could not complete the story or the Series.

There has been no record of Sinead appearing in any more shows since.

Well it looks as though the cast have been rather busy since 2011. Now you know what they've been doing. I'm sure they won't stop there either!
