Cancer (July Energy Reading)

Whew.

That was intense, wasn’t it Cancer? I can vouch that Gemini season really kicked my ass when it came to remembering to keep a level head in situations... I’m sure we can all agree on this one, all those times we promised we wouldn’t overreact but then we just... did.

Who’s to blame? Eh. I feel like for some of us, we had a very good reason to relapse. As far as emotional matters, there were many deep wounds that still needed some alcohol poured on them. Then for others, well, it was just because that’s all you knew how to do in a highly volatile situation, and I know that testy Gemini energy was no help in diffusing these outbursts.

Some of us were way too immature and used A LOT of escapism to just try and drown out the chaotic energy that we will call healing. You see how crabs move sideways as they scurry off to their safe haven that is the ocean, afraid that a seagull is gonna swoop down and eat you up; but really, the universe just wanted us to stand still and let that seagull carry us into the sky so we could look down and see everything for what it really, truly is (especially with Pisces Retrograde). A lot of us kept scurrying and missed our flights, so we plummeted into Cancer season just as confused as we entered June, if not, more.

What a shame.

But before you go curl up and watch shameful, scary, sob dramas to alleviate the pain of your own soap opera, let’s devise a plan.

Wait... I AM better than that.

Don’t be so hasty Cancers. I feel like a lot of us assumed a lot of bad things about good people and it put us in rough spots; and for another batch of us, we assumed a lot of good things about bad people.

You figure out where you fit.

This could have been very disheartening, especially if things seemed like they were on the right track; and for some, this made us feel like we never really had a sense of direction to begin with. Some of us had the scary realization that we never truly loved ourselves the way we deserved to. But this is why I say no worries; it’s our season.

This means that anything we believe, goes. The power of manifestation is REAL real for us all right now, and we have to be careful of intention. Ask yourself why do you want love, what will it bring you, or why do you want this job or why do you wanna travel there and start reflecting on a game plan to GET WHAT YOU WANT. And for the love of God, keep your circle small, Cancer. Some people just love to hear your downfalls, but don’t wanna promote a peaceful solution to your grievances.

ABORT THEM.

You are the magician, the wand is in your hands, better use it wisely before Leo season comes through and snatches it right away from you (they’ve been waiting). You gotta have the willpower, desire, and craving for change, or else your alchemy won’t work, my loves.

The motto for you is; check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Don’t even give anyone a chance to tell you anything about yourself when you are in your element, and if you do hear feedback from close loved ones, LISTEN. They don’t get worked up over you just for the fuck of it.

Family, compromise, and self awareness. Be nice, be loving, but remember your worth. Communicate it in a way where you don’t hurt feelings, we are all oh-so sensitive right now.

I’m not gonna lie, I was holding my breath as I hit shuffle for us all, but this is seriously a good vibe with a clear message. Understand that you cannot point fingers at people if you are doing things that trigger emotional responses out of them. Understand that no one can get under your skin unless it really penetrates an insecurity you have within yourself or a past hurt. When these things arise, pause.

Take a moment and think about when you had felt that way before and how you got past it. Yes, you may have got past it in a messy way, but how about we get a lasso on that?

How about we approach each emotional upheaval as a challenge to show how much poise and grace we all know a balanced water sign has when they apply logic to our high-volume emotions. I get it, Cancer. Most of us just want love. For most of us, it is coming in ways that may have not been the way we imagined it happening, and you have to be okay with that. Be your own Amiga in times like this where you feel like you are being pushed by the universe to reflect and learn.

Nothing can grow if you smother it; that goes for love, projects, friendships, even kissing up in interviews is a form of smothering. Sometimes, you gotta view that one thing you want so bad as if it’s already yours. Why would you freak out over something if you know it’s there or is coming?

Once you become that best friend to yourself, I guarantee everything will fall right back into place, and I know I’m gonna have to refer back to myself throughout the month just to remember this.

You are Kings and Queens, but you won’t receive your gifts if you don’t feel worthy of them. It will only confuse the universe and cause it to find something of less value, since that is what you are putting out...

Be weary, you can turn this all around, Cancer. That thing that happened, you can fix it.
