These Two Characters Will Have The Rematch Of The Century In 'Kenobi'
The duel of the fates between Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi is epic, no doubt. However, it pales in comparison to the duel between Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and Kenobi at the end of Revenge of the Sith. The encounter on Mustafar is easily the best lightsaber battle of the entire saga. Since last December, we know that the Jedi Master and his fallen student will meet again in something that Kathleen Kennedy called “the rematch of the century”.

With the release of Star Wars: Visions, Lucasfilm seems to be wanting to focus on Star Wars content that isn’t all canon. Star Wars: Visions recently premiered on Disney+ and follows short vignettes and stories throughout the Star Wars universe, featuring primarily new characters. The series is produced in different animated styles by prominent animation and anime companies which makes for some really beautiful imagery and stories different from anything we’ve seen before. With Star Wars: Visions’ release, comes the question: Is Lucasfilm going to be doing more non-canon Star Wars content?

The Star Wars sequel trilogy is now long over. Some plot points have been resolved, but others still leave the audience hanging. As it is with most trilogies, there are story issues, plot holes, and missed opportunities out there. While the sequel trilogy closes a chapter on the Skywalker family, it opens up another. The stories of Rey rebuilding the Jedi Order, Finn tapping into the Force, the New Republic coming back together again, and the fate of the First Order remnants are all loose ends that need to be tied up and expanded on. Here are the questions from the sequel trilogy that fans want answered.

Disney Exec Shares Star Wars' Jam-packed 2022 Roadmap
It is a great time to be a Star Wars fan, wouldn't you agree? The amount of content released over the last few years has been plentiful, and it looks like this trend will continue well into 2022. The Direct recently spoke with one of Lucasfilm executives who shared some information on how the coming year ended up being so jam-packed. Interestingly, it turns out it was not even on purpose.

Getting immortalized in plastic and seeing the likeness of yourself hanging from the pegs of major retail stores might be a dream come true for many actors (except maybe for the poor guy who played Constable Zuvio in The Force Awakens). Over the course of the last four and a half decades Kenner and later Hasbro have released countless Star Wars action figures. Nearly every major character who appeared in the movies, television shows, books and even comics were sooner or later turned into a small plastic figure, and put behind a transparent bubble on a cardboard. Aside from characters and creatures who appeared on screen, the Star Wars franchise had released action figures of behind-the-scenes personas, such as conceptual designer Ralph McQuarrie’s General Pharl McQuarrie from Empire Strikes Back, and more recently director Dave Filoni’s Trapper Wolf from The Mandalorian.

With Obi-Wan Kenobi being more or less finished with some post-production finishing touches remaining, many of the cast members are coming back home with fun souvenirs. It is a tradition within various shows, movies, whatever is being filmed for the cast and crew to get some sort of souvenir after filming wrapped. It a little symbol of the time one spent working on the job. More and more of the cast are showing off some of the gifts given to them as a sign that principal photography is done, and the series is getting closer and closer to completion. People are getting excited about the up and coming Star Wars limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is probably the most anticipated of the eleven series that are about to hit the Disney+ streaming service in the coming years. This one in particular marks not only the return of the character Obi-Wan, but Obi-Wan as played by Ewan McGregor from the prequel trilogy itself. This is a wish come true for many fans.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in Futurism'The Book Of Boba Fett' Release Date Revealed
When Boba Fett made his triumphant return to live-action in The Mandalorian season 2, fans were very satisfied, to say the least. Some were already used to the idea of Boba Fett surviving the sarlacc pit in Legends, but whether or not this happened in canon was put into question for a while. We knew for several years that, at the very least, his armor made it out. But of course, we now know for sure that he survived.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismThe Best Musical Pieces From Each 'Star Wars' Movie: Part 2 – 'Star Wars Stories' And More
Due to John Williams' age, The Rise of Skywalker will almost certainly be the last Star Wars movie he will be composing music for. However, there have been other composers, especially in recent years, such as Michael Giacchino, John Powell, Kevin Kiner, Gordy Haab, Ludwig Goransson, and even Joe McNeeley, who have taken over musical composition duties for other Star Wars content. They have all aptly demonstrated that they can bring their own signature styles to the galaxy far, far away in ways that are both new and familiar. In this article, I intend to talk about what I feel are the best themes in the two standalone films, Rogue One and Solo, as well as some noteworthy pieces from other Star Wars content through the years.

So this will be a big thing in terms of fandom and Star Wars.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismThe Biggest Redemption In 'Star Wars' Was Not Anakin Skywalker
Let’s face it. The Star Wars fandom can be fickle at best, and completely exhausting at worst when it comes to the discourse and changing of opinions. Once upon a time, the prequel trilogy was universally disliked if one spent time online around any Star Wars discussion pages. Now, as a new generation of Star Wars fans has grown up, the opinion has changed to a more positive tone. People seem to miss George Lucas again since he is no longer making Star Wars films. Today’s redemption story is that of a little known creator by the name of Dave Filoni. He is considered a Star Wars god by fans these days for his work in Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance, and The Mandalorian. However, once upon a time, he was disliked by many, especially those early fans of the Expanded Universe who thought that he did not understand Star Wars and was ruining the saga. Oh how the tide has turned.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismMultiple Lightsaber Wielding Characters Confirmed In 'Kenobi' Series
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a favorite character of many Star Wars fans, due to his expert portrayals by Sir Alec Guinness originally and Ewan McGregor in the Prequel Trilogy, his status as a legacy character, and his unwavering path as a true Jedi Master. Fans have been clamoring for a movie or streaming show focusing on Master Kenobi for years and finally our calls have been answered with Obi-Wan Kenobi coming to Disney+ next year. This highly anticipated show will follow an exiled Kenobi during his days on Tatooine following Order 66, ten years after the fall of the Republic. His exact mission and the overall plot of the show are still closely guarded secrets but, little by little, rumors generated by cast and crew involved with the project have taken over the fan community. The most recent hot rumor comes to us from a member of the cast, Sung Kang, and could indicate that Kenobi might be crossing sabers with multiple foes or racing against the clock to save an imperiled Jedi.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismThe Untold Story Of Grand Master Yoda
When we first met Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back, he certainly defied expectations. Like Luke, we had been led to believe the Jedi Master was an unmatched and powerful warrior. What we got was quite different. “Wars do not make one great,” he had said. It was clear that despite his demeanor and appearance, this little Jedi was much more wise and knowledgeable than he first led on. His initial act was a ruse that he quickly dropped, but he did not reveal everything in his first encounter. Like Obi-Wan, Yoda had served in the Clone Wars. Even decades later, it was clear his wisdom came as a result of years of hardship. However, it was not until the arrival of the prequel films and the Clone Wars series that fans would learn of Yoda’s many trials.
