Is Season 3 the Beginning of Sith Ezra?

Ezra is using the force like a seasoned Jedi; all signs point to him forgoing the light and becoming a Sith.

So as you all know, roughly 8 hours ago, give or take, a new video was released with a 3 min clip from Star Wars Rebels Season 3. Now in that clip, the lead character Ezra Bridger, has some very relevant changes. He's more confident, his hair is pulled back making him look older and sleeker and he has a shiny, new green lightsaber. But most of all, Ezra is confident and using the force like a seasoned Jedi.

Or Is He?

Ezra's been pretty much of a klutz when it comes to the force and Jedi training. While we did see some newfound power in the last episodes, most of it was due to what I will outline later. But let's recap what happened in the finale.

Ezra discovers a Sith holocron.

Sith holocrons as you know, are a source of knowledge and power. Revan's holocron was powerful enough to catapult Bane from a lowly acolyte into a Lord of the Sith. Some even contain spirits of their owner as did the holocron of Darth Andeddu. So we establish that holocrons are a source of great power. Plus Ezra's eyes go all Sith lord evil at the end.

Ezra has always had an affinity with the Dark Side of the Force

Both against the Grand Inquisitor and against Vader Ezra has shown some promise when he uses the dark side. He was also trained in that somewhat by Darth Maul in the season 2 finale. Also the dark side is always an easier path than the light and requires much less meditation and concentration.

Ezra's emotions were in turmoil after Kanan lost his sight and Ahsoka's possible death

In the words of Yoda, "Anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering." It is possible that he has foregoed the light.

The flip, the push and the ease with which he uses it and the confidence now shows only one thing. Ezra Bridger is now using to the dark side of the force. He's not a darth because he merely has begun his tapping into that power but he's surely on the way.
