Mandela Effect Theories

The Mandela Effect is evidence that you may have experienced events from a different reality. There are several theories that attempt to explain exactly what is causing this effect on thousands of people across the globe.

I personally do not think it is a case of bad memories and people becoming confused. The scale is too wide on how many people have the same “bad” memories. People who have never met or ever communicated online in any type of way.

The theory I like to lean towards believing the most is the alternate reality/realities theory. As true believers describe it, they say that it might be evidence that we are in fact living in an alternate reality. The theory with alternate realities is that sometimes we may “slip” into a different reality and it can be seemingly unnoticeable with slight changes, such as a logo being different. The slipping between realities is best explained that there are endless universes/realities aligned with ours and that our timeline is in a constant state of flux.

Some describe the evidence of the effects residue, almost as if a timeline that was erased left behind residual hints of what was. A popular theory is that CERN, a European research center, somehow caused a splinter in time and space when working on a project. There is no evidence to support this theory.

Many try to debunk any and all theories on the Mandela Effect by explaining that memory is not perfect, and that the human brain can alter what we remember. An example is a film titled Interview With the Vampire. Now many believe that instead of “the” it is actually “a.” This is a common ME occurrence. Debunkers say that it is just our memory trying to fit in a word that would make more sense as a movie title. It’s possible it is our memories playing tricks on us, but then how can THOUSANDS of individuals minds possibly be having the same misconception.

Kit-Kat doesn’t have that hyphen. It is actually KitKat.
