and their importance.

Our world is covered in 70% water. It is a vital importance to earth and everything that lives in it. Sea water has properties that control out climate and make life on earth possible. If you think about it, without the oceans we would all be dead!! The carbon cycle that the ocean plays a part in a major role that makes life on earth sustainable. The oceans absorb 60% of the carbon dioxide we produce, and millions of plants and microbes photosynthesis that carbon dioxide daily.

Did you know that the ocean is full of microbic life, there are millions of them stretched far and wide all over the ocean.

You probably also didn't know that a regular shell that you could pick up from the beach could well be in fact thousands of microbic life that have formed into a shell over time to withstand extreme conditions and live for many years (as microbic life was one of the first species to roam earth).

Out oceans hold some of the key parts in history, like the titanic which rests at 12,500 feet on the ocean floor. Even though our oceans hold some amazing and wonderful things for scientists yet to discover we still choose to pollute it.

Every year almost 6 million tons of waste is dumped in the ocean, waiting to claim innocent marine life.

If you think about it we are practical murders! And you might not think it's murder because fish don't have feelings, but would you think it's murder if you knew that scientifically the toxins we dump into the sea will slowly absorb into the atmosphere and come back down as acid ran , which will potentially destroy thousands of wildlife species and the world population!! All because you couldn't put your rubbish in the bin.

The ocean is key to our survival, places such as Brazil and Africa fees of thousands of fish that roam their shores.

However there are still illegal party's out there who hunt mammals such as dolphins for there skin and meat with their illegal methods like ghost fishing.

How many of you check your tuna tins for a small dolphin on the side. If there's no dolphin you could potentially be eating part of dolphin that has been processed into your tuna.

The Pacific ocean is the largest ocean and covers 30% of the earth's surface. The deepest part of the ocean is located in the Pacific and is called challenger deep, which is 37,070 feet below sea level. The pacific is home to great barrier reef bit due to tectonic plates the Pacific is sinking.

The smartest mamas to roam the earth belong to the cetacean family (such as dolphins and whales). Bottle nose dolphins frontal lone is 40% bigger than ours. Dolphins hunt by hurdling their pray into a circle and one by one eat while the other keep the pray sealed in.

To date we have only discovered less than 5% of our oceans. Scientists spend to much time looking at the stars for new planets than taking the time to understand our planet and the mysteries it holds.

The ocean key to our survival as it ultimately supports all living organisms on earth, which is why we nee to save the oceans rather than destroying them ands they hold more secrets than anyone knows!!!
