It's been over a year since #StarWars Episode VII: The Force Awakens premiered in theaters and there's still more footage coming to light. The latest footage to be revealed is of a deleted scene involving Unkar Plutt, Rey, and Chewbacca.

If you don't recall, Unkar Plutt (Simon Pegg) was the goods trader on Rey's home planet, Jakku. Rey met with Unkar Plutt on a few occasions to trade scrap for food, but their encounters were limited. However, a new deleted scene sees Unkar Plutt confronting Rey after she escaped with the Millennium Falcon.

The Millennium Falcon was in Plutt's position while on Jakku but was taken by Rey and Finn during their escape off the planet. Unkar Plutt runs into Rey again in Maz Kanata's temple, though this scene isn't in the original cut.

Will Unkar Plutt Seek Revenge On Chewbacca And Rey?

Keeping in mind that Unkar Plutt appears to be the vengeful type, he'll probably search for Chewbacca and Rey in the future. Plutt may not find them right away, which could result in Plutt reaching out to the First Order for assistance.

Unkar Plutt knows the First Order is after Rey, so any chance of finding her would likely come from their assistance. Allying with the First Order could also gain Unkar Plutt access to cybernetic prosthetic limbs. If so, Unkar Plutt may wind up "armed" with a weapon he'll use to capture Rey and Chewbacca.

There's also the idea that Rey, Chewbacca, and Finn could be hunted by the First Order, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched for the them to contract aliens like Unkar Plutt to aid in hunting Rey down. Unkar Plutt would have no reservations in turning Rey and Chewbacca over the First Order, leading him to become one of the First Order's bounty hunters.
