5 Superweapons That Make The Death Star Look Like A Peashooter
It might be “no moon,” but the Death Star is a truly formidable weapon in the Star Wars universe. Capable of destroying entire planets at the command of any Hammer Horror legend. But while Tarkin and his allies may think this technological terror is the peak of power for the Empire, it does indeed pale in the power of not only the force but these five other superweapons in the Star Wars Universe.

Today while in London during a photo event, Hayden Christensen was asked a few questions about his return as the iconic Darth Vader. In an interview clocking in just under two minutes, he spoke about returning to the role after so long away from it, his relationship with co-star Ewan McGregor, and even filled us in on what it was like to don the Dark Lord of the Sith's one of a kind armor. Hayden seemed very happy to be back in his role as Anakin, smiling the whole time and recalling how he enjoyed filming the prequels with Ewan. It seems like he is giddy about his upcoming appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi, and to be honest so are we.

It was early 2020, the pandemic had just begun and most folks were staying home. I was helping my cousin buy his first new car, when the two of us sat down with the finance manager of the dealership I noticed that he had a lot of Star Wars memorabilia. Like most super fans of the franchise, we eventually started talking Star Wars. He clued me in on the existence of a fan edit of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, an edit that combined scenes from The Clone Wars as well as a few scenes from the 2005 micro animated series. We eagerly watched this four-hour supercut and collected our thoughts for our readers.

Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in FuturismWhy ‘Rogue Squadron’ Really Should Be A Disney+ Series
Star Wars Rogue Squadron will potentially be the next great Star Wars film to come to theaters near us, hopefully in 2023. Directed by Patty Jenkins, very little is known about this film, only that it will have the name of the famous X-Wing Squadron that helped the Rebel Alliance defeat the Evil Empire during the Galactic Civil War. First introduced in the Legends X-Wing Novel Series by Michael Stackpool, the name is famous among the Star Wars fandom. Whether or not the movie will have anything to do with the books of Legends is yet to be known, however one thing that has come to mind with this author is the following question; Should it be a movie at all, maybe it should be a Disney+ series?

Force users such as the Jedi and the Sith have frequently been the focal point of Star Wars content, showcasing the astonishing feats one could do with the power of the Force from influencing others' thoughts via mind tricks to lifting enormous objects with their minds. Non-Force users, on the other hand, also have a long track record and their fair share of impressive feats throughout lore. Throughout Star Wars media, for better or worse, there has always been one master antagonist either pulling the strings or attempting to prevent our heroes from winning: Sheev Palpatine. Although Palpatine is a universally known character, not all may be familiar with his story and how he came to be the most powerful Sith in the galaxy.

Before Reylo, no romantic relationship in Star Wars had been rockier than that of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala. Brought on by naïve young love and solidified by secrets and war, Anakin and Padmé's marriage is essentially the franchise's equivalent to Romeo and Juliet, complete with a tragic ending that brings their previous lives to a bitter end. Their relationship also comes with a decent amount of baggage from how it was handled in the prequel trilogy. From the Shakespearean dialogue to Padmé's willingness to marry someone who slaughtered a village of men, women and children, writing for Anakin and Padmé in subsequent material is far from an easy task. However, this hasn't stopped writers from expanding upon their romance in ways that help it feel more natural and true to their characters. One certain writer who has done this especially well is none other than E.K. Johnston.

None of the Star Wars series coming to Disney+ are still more mysterious than Star Wars: Andor. This up-and-coming Disney+ series is set to take place before the film Rogue One starring that movie’s titular character Cassian Andor. Many suspect this will be a spy thriller detailing some of the earlier adventures of the Rebel Alliance as they fight the oppression of the Galactic Empire. Set during the Dark Times, we know that the Empire will have many forces under its disposal. Recently it was revealed that a few variants of the Imperial forces have been leaked, and we can now give details on what is to come.
