I have watched a good amount of TV in my life, so I have heard many different testimonies about people having experiences that they couldn't explain, dealing with aliens. As I have watched people explain over the years what happened to them, I usually think that they are just making up some colorful story to get attention. What I didn't know was this way of thinking would change for me, and for one unexplained night, it did.
That night, I sat at my laptop, working on my online shop until I started getting tired. I got in bed and laid there until I fell asleep. Sleep had taken hold on me and this weird dream began to take shape.
As I awoke in the dream, I heard a slow rhythm of drums, but all I could see was just darkness. Every time the drums would beat slowly, there would be an echo like I was in some kind of hollow area. Then, as I woke up, I saw this bright light appearing down on me. The room seemed like a hospital operating room, but a little different, from what I could see. I was laying on my back in what seemed like a hospital bed, but I could not move at all.
The drums were still beating slowly and I felt like I was in a half asleep trance. It almost felt like I was medicated. Everything seemed foggy as I looked up from the bed I was laying on. I noticed there was a crowd of human-like shapes that were gathered around my bed. I felt like it was actual people, but it was too foggy to see their faces and what they were wearing. The shape of these figures seemed like they were human, but all I could see were foggy, shadowy shapes.
As I looked down at the end of the bed, there was one dark, gray figure that stood out from the other figures that were around my bed. It was the only one standing at the foot of the bed. Of course, I couldn't make out the details of this figure because it was foggy. I only knew that this figure was not human from its shape. The shape almost seemed like human, but the head seemed thin and it was really tall and skinny. This figure moved around the foot of my bed, bending over looking at me. This figure seemed really interested in me. I couldn't tell if the group of shapes and this oddly figure was either studying me or doing something to me. All I could look at is their shapes shifting around my bed and this other figure studying me. I could hear muffled voices around me, but I could not make out what they were saying at all. The drumming was still beating slowly in the background, echoing out.
It seemed like I was only there for two minutes and then I was back in the void of sleeping. The dream had ended and I woke up. It was around 5:30 AM and I heard my dad warming up his car to go to work. I woke up later that morning and just kept thinking of how odd that dream was. I had never had a dream like that in my entire life. It was just odd how I remember the dream so vividly and could still see the shapes looking down on me from the bed I was in. The surprise was far from over, though.
Later that afternoon, my dad came home from work. I was in the living room watching TV. He sat down in his chair and telling his wife, Candy, and me about how his day went at work. I hadn't had a chance to tell him or Candy about my weird dream yet. After he was done talking about his work day, he looked over at me and told me that I wouldn't believe the strangest thing that happened to him that morning before work.
He told me that while he was outside that morning warming up his car for work, that he saw something strange. Now this was the time I had woken up from my dream and heard him warming up his car for work outside. He told me he saw some big, strange, bright light in the sky, and as he was watching it, it just disappeared into thin air. He said he felt uncomfortable because it looked so weird to him. Then, that was when I told him the odd dream I had. Honestly, I don't know if he really believed it or not, but only I knew what happened to me that night, asleep.
This dream still haunts me from time to time. Every vivid piece of this dream was still clear as it was when I was dreaming it. I am not sure if this was real or just a dream, but I do know that this dream was not like any other dream I ever had in my entire life. Was I ported up to an aircraft where humans and aliens were on the same ship, working together? Or was this just a once in a lifetime odd dream that seemed real? I guess I will never know, but the fact that my dad saw a bright light that morning and it disappeared into thin air at the same time I woke up from that dream remains a mystery.
