Uranus in Taurus

The seventh rock from our sun is Uranus. It was first discovered in 1781 by astronomer William Herschel, with the aid of his telescope. Believing it to be a comet or meteor, Herschel tried unsuccessfully to name it after King George III. It was two years later when astronomer Johann Elert Bode took a look-see through his own telescope, suggested it must be a planet and named it after the Greek god of the sky, Uranus.

It has 27 moons, 13 rings, and is much larger than Earth. Compared to Uranus, we are the size of a basketball next to it. An ice giant, the core of it is a dense fluid of water, methane, and ammonia. Its gassy atmosphere is full of hydrogen, helium, and methane, so if humans were able to actually get a whiff of Uranus without suffocating, it would stink like rotten eggs!

Uranus rotates clockwise around our sun, on a completely tilted axis. Scientists believe it was once very close to the sun until something hit the giant planet, knocking it to its far distance, into its strange orbit and rotation. Compared to all our other neighbors, except for Venus (which rotates both on Her axis and around our sun BACKWARDS), Uranus became the little rebel of our Solar System!

Astrologers believe the planet is symbolic for revolution and surprises. This past May 15, Uranus entered the sign of Taurus, the ruling sign between April 20 - May 20. Taurus governs values like our material wealth, finances, and security. In astrology, our values are the Second House in astrology. Sun Sign Taurus and its ruling planet, Venus, preside over it. Uranus will be visiting Taurus until April 26, 2026, on and off. Not too long ago, I explored the Pluto in Capricorn transit going on right now. In 2024, Pluto will leave Capricorn and enter Aquarius, which is also ruled by Uranus! I think all the changes during these transits will have a big impact later. I can't wait to see what will be going on in the world when Pluto moves into Aquarius!

Taurus, the Bull, an Earth Sign constellation, is ruled by Venus. She is the planet of love, so Taurus symbolizes appreciating Earth's abundance of food, seductive arts, material possessions, and financial security. Uranus wouldn't like us taking Earth for granted and is spending this transit (working with His rebel friend, Venus!) on helping us re-evaluate and reform, to change fortune, just like the rebel He is!

All we have had this year are reevaluations of laws related to communication, immigration, and money. We have started to reform global relations, such as peace treaties and trade regulations between the biggest countries like Britain, Canada, China, France, Jerusalem, Mexico, North Korea, Russia, The US, and Saudi Arabia, etc. All these same big countries also cracked down on undercover international spies and internet hacking with some pretty big indictments! These changes, good and bad, will affect how countries have been relating to each other for years to come!

Nostradamus Predictions 2018

Nostradamus received his visions by staring into a bowl of water, a type of divination. He wrote in a way that was hard to understand because during his lifetime, what he did was considered Witchcraft. The famous 16th-century astronomer, astrologer, physician, and philosopher was repeatedly called on by Queen Catherine Medici to divine for her. The last time Uranus was in Taurus was 1934-1942, during WWII. Some pretty big changes happened back then, too! Nostradamus usually talked of our sun and moon, along with the other planets and constellations, to get his point across. His strange prose was the way an astronomer who believed in astrology could understand. Barely, considering his time was the late 1500s! He wasn't about to get caught with pen in hand, writing what would have been considered evil. To anyone who read it back then, it would seem like the writings of a madman. Venus 2021

Venus is in the same state as Her rebel friend, Uranus. On August 23, 2021, asteroid 2016 NF23 makes an extremely close pass of Venus. Close enough that it may just make contact with Venus. The information can be found on the NASA website for the asteroid. When Earth swings back around to the area of their impact during May, June, and July 2022, I'm betting there will be debris still there! The trajectory of the asteroid makes another visit with possible Venus contact, 10 years later on June 26, 2031. According to the NASA projection, on July 26, 2079, the asteroid will make another extremely close fly-by with Earth. The problem I have with the NASA site is that Venus circles around our sun in a different direction than the rest of the planets in our solar system. Their website doesn't reflect this.

This is what I think Nostradamus must be saying: that our sun will shine brightly and our moon will appear full. Then something comes from the sky. He also wrote that it will bring ruin. People will be happy and know nothing until the closing in of a surprise in the sky.

Nostradamus also wrote about fortune changing. Fortune is many things. It's health, family, money, possessions, and so I think ALL that will change. Some fortunes change for the better, for others maybe not so much. If I was to take him literally, I would think that an asteroid that used to be a planet hits us when we least expect it. It will be, in the same way, like Uranus. Neither Venus or Uranus are habitable planets, so that isn't a fortunate state for Earth! Hey, we all know that planets get hit by giant asteroids. Just look at poor Uranus... and where are Earth's dinosaurs?

I don't think Nostradamus could have meant aliens. I think they live in our deepest oceans and believe he covers that in a different Quatrain anyway. During his time, most people brushed him off, but now we know that Queen Catherine Medici knew that Nostradamus was pretty good at what he did! What do you think?
