NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) has proven that water on Mars actually exists. An maging spectrometer on MRO, researchers detected signatures of hydrated minerals on slopes where mysterious streaks are seen on Mars itself.

“Our quest on Mars has been to ‘follow the water,’ in our search for life in the universe, and now we have convincing science that validates what we’ve long suspected. This is a significant development, as it appears to confirm that water -- albeit briny -- is flowing today on the surface of Mars.” - John Grunsfeld, astronaut and associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate in Washington.

This Is Bad News To 'Doctor Who' Fans!

People of the #DoctorWho universe went into melt down when they heard this news. The water on Mars is believed to be contaminated and deadly to humans, as seen in the November 2009 Special of Doctor Who "The Waters of Mars". One touch of the water and you transform into something horrible. The water fills you up and uses you like a host. This creature is called 'The Flood' and has been rated one of Doctor Who's scariest enemies to date.

The Flood ended up killing most of the crew in the base on Mars. However, 3 people managed to survive as the Doctor was able to take them home in the TARDIS. This was because they were forced to abandon the base before everyone including the Doctor was contaminated and transformed into The Flood..

I think it's best off if all humans kept away from the Water on Mars. Otherwise serious consequences will happen! People across Social Media have urged people not to touch the Water on Mars, because who knows what will happen. Let's stay safe.

Here's your advice: Don't drink the water. Don't even touch it. Not one drop!
