What Psychic Talent Is and What It Isn’t

The term “psychic” — is given to people gifted with extra sensory perception. Some may prefer the term, “gifted.” There is a comprehensive list of abilities on Wikipedia. Extrasensory perception may be present in all human beings since we are a psychic species by nature, but in some, the abilities are shut off. These days the knowledge of what real psychic ability can appear as, is being researched more often and is gaining some ground with regard for credibility by scientists. In terms of what real ESP is, it can manifest in a variety of ways. Real psychics do not cold read people. They see deeper than a mere cold reading on the surface, such as “Do I see a wedding ring on this person or not?” Rings are not the most obvious sign a person is married. They are put on the index finger to signify somebody is taken, but at the same time, a person may or may not be actually married. They might be wearing that ring to keep men away from them.

Empathy is an ability that allows the user to read emotions. Non-empaths view people as blanks, they merely have it off. A telepath is somebody gifted in mind-to-mind communication, which happens with thoughts, words, or images sent via psychic link. Whole telepathic conversations can be had with telepathy. It is like dial a brain, which allows the user to talk to somebody where distance is not an issue. There are many methods to receive psychic information. Clairvoyance refers to being able to see inwardly. You see images in your head that tell you what the meaning of the message is. Sometimes clairvoyants can see whole premonitions that warn you of an event. Clairvoyants also see auras, which is yet another way to process energy.

Somebody high in psychic vision just sees things. Clairsentience is clear feeling or also called psychic feeling. Clairsentients know when people are lying to them. Clairsentients can feel energy that hovers outside of their energy field. Some clairsentients can smell non-corporeal smells. Clairsentients can sometimes be driven nuts by feeling the illness of others. Illness is a form of energy blockage, so a clairsentient can heal using energy if they want to, by moving energy from their body to another person’s body. Reiki and other forms of energy healing works like this.

Clairaudients are high in psychic hearing, which means they hear voices. This is not the same thing as a schizophrenic hearing voices, this is an inner voice that gives you directions, and that tells you to stop something you are about to do. They hear spirit voices, sounds, noises, or loud music as related to a person. Claircognizance is an inner knowing that recognizes an event without substantiated evidence. This type of knowledge is not something that can be given to police or the court system. The real world relies on factual evidence.

Clairalience is clear smelling, the ability to smell psychically without smelling something in the normal range. If you smell rose perfume for example, this is a clairalience experience. Clairgustance is clear-tasting. Psychic mediums get this while reading for somebody. You can smell the whole meals that the deceased would cook. Mediums get taste in their mouths from whatever the deceased liked to eat.

Other abilities include remote viewing, which sees altered consciousness, places, and past events at a distance in either the physical realm or the non-physical realm. An astral traveler uses their consciousness to travel to places found in the mind, or realms beyond the mind. Lucid dreaming is an ability to consciously direct the dream. Precognition is the ability to perceive an event that has not happened yet as though it is actually happening. The future, however, is an ever-changing possibility with many variables. What you see is not always what you get. Retrocognition is the ability to acquire information from past lives, from your mind or somebody else’s. Psychometry involves an ability to read information via touch of an object that somebody else has on their person or in their possession. A psychic medium is a channeler who channels information from dead people who speak through psychic means, such as telepathy to the medium. It is also possible to channel information this way.

Telekinesis and psychokinesis are the abilities to move an object without touching the object. Psychokinesis is the ability to use energy to bend metal objects. Telekinetics can make objects disappear. Telekinetics can move objects by not touching them but by using their energy field, which extends to the object instead. Psychokinesis involves the bending of metal objects without touching the object or a channeling of energy from the person’s body through the arm, into the hand, and into the metal. Psychokinesis can also heat water up, change the chemical composition of liquids like water, or influence chemicals in general. It can also influence biological materials besides water. More experiments need to be done on natural ESP talents found in humans everywhere on this planet. The ancient aliens who helped found human civilization on earth have had an influence on our development, including shutting off various psi talents in our ancestors. Some are born these days, with every ability switched on and, thus, more study needs to be done on extrasensory skill.
