One Year Later - The Lasting Appeal of 'Spider-Man PS4'
Around a year ago, Playstation 4 owners were blessed with the wonders of Marvel's Spider-Man. The game was hugely anticipated by fans and was met with great acclaim when it was released. Insomniac's creation finally allowed gamers to experience the world from the wall-crawler's perspective. One year later, the game still has a lasting appeal.

After 'Spider-Man' PS4 and 'Into The Spider-Verse'—Why We Need More Older Peter Parker Stories
Peter Parker is one of the most popular fictional characters in the world. Both as Spider-Man, and his alter-ego, Peter’s character resonates with people across the globe. If this wasn’t the case, Marvel wouldn’t have fought so hard to gain the rights to use the character in their cinematic universe. Thanks to a deal with Sony, the wall-crawler can take his rightful place in the MCU, and share the screen with the other Avengers. Tom Holland’s portrayal of the character has garnered great acclaim, deservedly so, and Marvel is delivering the most accurate big-screen depiction of the character yet.

5 Suits Spider-Man Could Wear in the MCU
We all know by now that Spidey is finally coming home to the MCU (if you don't, seriously, where have you been?!). What we don't know is what his suit will look like. Marvel have been very secretive about their flagship superhero's appearance in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War film, which I think is brilliant as it allows us to be surprised when we finally see it. The mystery adds to the excitement. I remember the previous Spider-Man films all released images of the costume very early in production (which was not necessarily a bad thing - they were amazing!), but the most we have had so far is a tease from Kevin Feige:

Has DC Made a Mistake by Recasting Arrow and the Flash for Their Movies?
By now, we all know that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is coming. Although we've only seen a trailer so far, we can safely say that it will do well at the box office. We also know that it will involve a lot of setup for a future Justice League film. DC has already announced release dates for films based on Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, Shazam, Aquaman and, interestingly, The Flash.

Magical Marvel Moments that Made Phase 1 of the MCU a Massive Success
In 2008, Marvel Studios took one of the biggest gambles in film history. With the release of Iron Man they began to create the Marvel Cinematic Universe - a series of films which share the same world and characters. The gamble paid off massively as the MCU is now the highest grossing film series of all time, and it continues to go from strength the strength. With Phase Three upon us, I thought it would be nice to go back and have a look at some magic moments from Phase One... So without further ado, let's crack on!

Jarvis or JARVIS — Which Do You Prefer?
Ever since the dawn of time, comparisons have been made between things, and this post is no different. In the MCU there are two different entities which are synonymous with each other - Howard Stark's faithful butler, Edwin Jarvis and Tony Stark's trusted AI, JARVIS. We were first introduced to the computer JARVIS in Iron Man at the birth of the MCU, while Edwin came along later in Agent Carter. Both are integral parts of the worlds they inhabit - but which is better?

You Could Be the Next J.J. Abrams: Why Superfans Are Hollywood's Unstoppable Future
In the beginning, comic books and TV shows relied on their creators to tell the stories. The likes of #StanLee, Jim Starlin and Bob Kane would create a character and regale us all with tales of their adventures. Now, a new breed of writer has emerged: one who has a deep, personal connection to the characters as well as an encyclopaedic knowledge of all of their trials and tribulations — the superfan!

Why 'Arrow' Season 6 Will Finally Aim the Show’s Bow in New Directions
It was announced earlier in the week that #Arrow will be returning to The CW for a sixth season. While #TheFlash, #Supergirl and #LegendsOfTomorrow were also renewed, it was this Arrow news that really got me excited.

5 Ways 'Legends Of Tomorrow' Is Fixing Its Mistakes and Giving Us a Legendary Season 2
Of all the #Arrowverse shows, it's probably fair to say that the one that has improved the most over its previous season is #LegendsOfTomorrow. Where Season 1 followed the Legends on their quest to defeat the immortal Vandal Savage, Season 2 has a completely new mission. And it's a much more watchable one.

J.K. Simmons Will Never Be Topped, So How Can Marvel Change J. Jonah Jameson for the MCU?
J. Jonah Jameson has been a constant thorn in Peter Parker's life ever since the early days of #Spiderman. Jameson's declarations that Spider-Man was a menace to the public made it increasingly difficult for Spidey to build a heroic name for himself — and Jameson grossly underpaid Peter for all of those pictures!

'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.': Why Fitz and Simmons Are the Cutest Couple on Superhero TV
Love it or hate it, romance is an essential part of #superhero stories: Clark Kent and Lois Lane, Peter Parker and Mary Jane (or Gwen Stacy), Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter, even Thor and Jane Foster. The same is true for current TV superhero adaptations: #TheFlash has Iris West, #Arrow had Laurel Lance (and still has Felicity Smoak) and #Supergirl has Mon-El.
