Homecoming
National Gallery of Art, Museum of Fine Art, the High Museum of Art Atlanta, and Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Plus a few others encapsulates timeless art by the late great Gordon Parks to be seen in person to this day. Personal favorite and one the most impactful image based cinematic medium use of photography for the 20th and 21st century is by a black man. While also unknowingly relating to his life story to a sense and extent.

Also encouraging people overall creators to be optimistic for their futures in to love more through out the process instead of being divisive along with others by being negative, that things will be ok for the near future. The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Boy with Apple After years of quirky classics in their own right in the similar vein of style of all his films inventive, funny, creative, fun straight on symmetric cinematography, and dope colorful productions as this movie is the Oscar winner for best production design which is always a noteworthy feature throughout all the way down to the costumes in a tasteful way. All cultivating from a body of work amounting to 10 movies with seven feature films and two short films. Leading to this being widely considered his best one hands down, all aspects of his own signature style of movies to a tee while being the most mature film created. 10/10 rating off the back when I seen it 6 years ago and until later on in 2020 when we see the yet unreleased highly anticipated ‘The French Dispatch’ movie coming in the summer of 2020, uncertainty lies in his most mature movies yet. The Grand Budapest Hotel is a combination done to the best ability seen in anyone’s filmography in my eyes that I’ve seen besides Tarantino, Spike, Fincher, and Scorsese. Personal opinions. The best drama/crime/rom-com of the last decade. A movie that recounts the adventures of legendary concierge M. Gustave of the European Hotel along with the lobby boy who’s become his most trusted friend. An caper film that has beginning, middle, and end through the mist of a stolen or misplaced inherited piece of art, leading to deaths, a breakout of jail, ski chase, and shoot out.

Guava IslandTop Story - February 2020
Guava Island: Comedy/Drama/Music (2019) A top secret and one of my favorite surprises of spring going into summer 2019. Directed by Hiro Murai (his feature directorial debut) with a screenplay by Stephen Glover from a story by Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Ibra Ake, Jamal Olori and Fam Udeorji. It stars Donald Glover and Rihanna in the lead roles of Deni and Kofi. First shown as a really good surprise before headlining performance at the Coachella Festival on April 11, 2019. Which has and some unreleased songs I’m sure from an Album this is tied to were futuristic next level high energy with some 808’s in there songs was performed for Coachella only with the infectious r&b song Saturday shines through in the movie. It was then released on April 13, 2019, by Amazon Studios through Amazon Prime Video for anyone to watch without a subscription for 18 hours before being available to Prime subscribers only. In the final hour of the 18 hours, the film was streamed on the Coachella YouTube page. Donald Glover was co-headlining at the event as Childish Gambino. I can’t stress enough that this is not mainly and overall just a musical film, just because it can be considered in that genre doesn’t automatically make this a musical. Its not even that it only has three main impactful artistic performances, summertime magic, this is America, and Saturday to end the film in musical performances. Lastly containing background music all performed and featured by Childish Gambino. As some to believe as conspiracy theory’s and statements that Donald Glover eluded he’s retiring as a musical artist in the theory’s are that this film is showcasing and provoking that he’s killing of the Childish Gambino artist persona of his music career who is basically the lead character Deni. Nonetheless if this is the end with no more music from Childish Gambino than this maybe considered a final cut of songs from a final album. Which hasn’t been or maybe never will be released as well.

Uncut Gems
This is how I win. If anxiety was a movie this would be it. Rated R: Mystery/Crime 2019. The movie that shocked everyone. An adrenaline rush of the century in this film that’s undeniable. Academy Award deserving that’s clearly top 10 of one of the greatest movies from 2010-2019 largely considered throughout the masses of the nation. The sandman shocked and gripped us all. A story of hey where’s that twenty grand you owe? I got you with that next week. A man gambling with multiple things in his life to prodive and have his family thrive than survive while being in the a dark mist of his actions he’s not really taking accountability for catching up with him. Starring Lakeith Stanfield, Kevin Garnett, Abel (The Weeknd) Tesfaye, Julia Fox, and Idina Menzel.
